My Name is Shane Bentley and I am the proud Assistant Principal and Athletic Director for Sierra K-8. This is my second year in this position at Sierra and I am looking forward to seeing the great accomplishments our Student Athletes will achieve during the 2025-2026 school year.
As a current and former youth and high school coach (Baseball, Football, and Hockey) I believe in the positive impact that athletics has on our students and that through athletics they can become a more well rounded person, a better student, and can cultivate important relationships that will last them through their high school career and beyond.
Our mission is to emphasize personal growth over trophies, sportsmanship over scores, and effort over ego. We aim to create an environment where every student athlete, regardless of skill level, feels encouraged, challenged, and supported. We strive to empower students to become confident, compassionate leaders—on and off the field.
